New Video: Removing Mustang Spoiler

July 14th, 2009

This video shows you how to get that sleek, no spoiler look (similar to the Bullitt edition Mustang) without going to a body shop!

Check it out and please post your comments! Thanks.

One quick note…you will want to remove your spoiler and measure the bolt holes prior to going to the hardware store. Your setup may require slightly different plugs.

This video is brought to you by my other site: Maintain Your Mustang

Good Morning, I have a remodeling question, I have a 1994 Pontiac Sunbird that has a solid grille,I would like to pop it out and put a Mustang Honeycomb Grille in it’s place, do you think it would fit and what year Mustang would be the closest……Thanks, Jim

Where did you buy that paint? I bought the duplicolor one. The color of my mustang is the same as your and the color from duplicolor came a brighter silver.

Looks like FE4R gave away the answer ;)

Erik: thanks! you can use the same trick to cover up holes left by front license plates!

Jim: my experience is limited with Pontiacs. I have no idea if it can be done but the first thing that comes to mind is that you will need to account for the bottom corners…they are rounded.

bigboi: I was afraid that the dupli-color wouldn’t match (like you said) so I just went straight to the source: Ford dealership parts dept. Paint code for this silver is ‘TL’. You could also get it in a spray can if you wanted.
